How to get there:

Travel along the old deer path to the east. When you can see the old stone road, follow it to the Red Spire, about two days from here. Be careful, as this area is known to be inhabited by undead. Climb to the top of the spire. From there, you should be able to see ruins of a temple complex about a day’s travel away to the southeast. Go there. This area has been known to be inhabited by worshipers of an evil sect who fled here many years ago. There will be another old stone road leading east. Follow this for two days. You will go through the overgrown ruins of an ancient city. The biggest danger would be in exploring the buildings, as they are extremely delicate and subject to caving in. You will come to a small village on the far outskirts of these ruins that is inhabited by our people. They should be glad to extend hospitality to you and they may have current information on your destination. Travel another day on the old stone road through the forest. The road should disappear sometime towards the end of that day. This will leave about two more days of travel. Heading due east for about half a day will take you to an ancient elven tree-spire. climbing this should give you a view of the village you are heading for, as it was built around the remains of an old human settlement with an old castle. Get your bearings from this and make your way there. When you arrive, ask to speak to Tserrin, if he still lives. He was the keeper of the ancient tomes. He would be able to find the information we need and make a copy available for you to bring back.
